Be Thou At Peace

| It was through Haley that I came to know Ryan. I was struck by what beautiful people they were together as husband and wife and as individuals. Beautiful not only in looks but in those soul deep ways that shine out and surround them and everyone else around them in the glow of strong faith, true friendship, honorable conviction and a sense of endless peace and happiness. Whenever I was around either of them this sense was absolutely magnetizing. I remember Ryan's smile would light up the room and his smile was always brightest for Haley. I have rarely cried harder than I did at his funeral as the loss of that kind of person from this world just seems so tragic. And even though that glow has been reduced here on earth by one I know it has been reestablished in a place more fitting. |
