| My sincerest sympathy to the entire Bashore family. I served under Col. Bashore at the Combat Developments Command as a new Lt. out of OCS. He was very kind to me and my wife and had us over for dinner on more than one occasion where we also met his first wife, Irma (?), who was also a wonderful woman. Col. Bashore was an inspiration to me and I greatly respected him and the opportunity to work for him. I did speak to him on the phone a few years ago and had a very nice conversation. |
