In the years since his passing, I have thought of Terrance more times than it would be practical to count. It is a great comfort to see that others continue to honor his memory. His devotion to his sons and his commitment to his family were only a few of his virtues that made Terrance a wonderful friend. That smile, that laugh. The leadership lessons that he learned in the Army translated into excellent leadership in the corporate environment. Terrance gave me a piece of advice about being courageous in my career a very short time before he passed away. I never got the opportunity to tell him that I'd taken it and today, several promotions later, I continue to be grateful for his friendship, mentoring and counsel and honor him by paying it forward. My heart will grieve until we meet again in Heaven. |
