Hans, Your Spirit will be missed by all that respected and loved you. You were the best Captain I have ever had the pleasure of working with in my now 24 years of service. You are the standard I hold all officers to. Every good memory I have of being in the BDE S3 shop in Schwienfurt is tied somehow to you and how much you made me proud and laugh at the the same time. Holly, Tori, Nick and Taylor will never forget the Thanksgiving you shared with us in 2000 in our home in Germany. We were blessed to have you at our table and you will always be in our hearts.
