In the nearly 21 years since West Point became part of my life there are few people from this "Rockbound Highland Home" who resonate more in my memory than LTC Mike Mcmahon. Cadet "Hoo Yah" as he was always to be remembered by those of us who were his New Cadets in 5th Company CBT was exactly what we dreamed a West Point leader should be. Mike was an outstanding soldier, but beyond that, he was an outstanding human being who knew how to bring the best out of individuals. He definitely left an impact on my life and for that reason I will always have fond memories of him. May he rest in peace. Alex Puig Class of 1988 5th Co. CBT |
