I served under Col. Moore for several years during my tenure at Barksdale Air Force Base. I found the Col. to be an extraordinary individual, an inspirational leader, and later a friend. Although task oriented, he had a wonderful sense of humor. His role was an important one which he took seriously but, at times, a mirthfulness would emerge which made working with him a very positive experience.
