Be Thou At Peace

Jerry was a good friend. We knew each other as cadets -- fellow Texan, had some classes together, taught Sunday School together, were in the Debate Council and Forum, and shared good times together. He was always friendly and funny. After graduation, we attended Ranger School, Airborne School, and the Artillery Officer Basic Course together, where we spent quite a bit of time together. Later, we ran across each other from time to time in the Army. I also saw him at reunions. I shall miss him. Well Done, Jerry, Be Thou at Peace! Keith Garner A-2 |
