I enjoyed knowing Jack, both as cadets and after graduation. I got to know him through the Debate Council and Forum and the Ski Club. We found we had a lot in common. Unfortunately, I did not serve with him after graduation, but continued sporadic contact until the Class of 1960 forum was formed. I reconnected with him and sought him out at class reunions and frequently corresponded with him via the internet. I was distressed when he became ill and greatly saddened by his death.
