I met John at Camp Buckner, saw him during class trips, and would run across him from time to time when we were cadets. He was always friendly and had a great sense of humor. Since he was commissioned in the Marine Corps, I did not serve with him after graduation, but would kid him at class reunions because promotions in the Marine Corps were much slower than in the Army. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. Well Done, John! Be Thou at Peace! Keith Garner A-2 |
