I lived at West Point over 20 years while Ray, was the Head of the Department of Physics. During those years we came to know John and Angela. John was in the English Department as many of you know. But, what you might not know that John was also a wonderful artist. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful water color that John painted. It is a painting of the Florida family home of Angela's parents. The colors of greens and browns bring to life the house. It hangs proudly on the side wall when coming into the front door. I am happy to have this lasting reminder of John. A kind and wonderful man. Sally Winkel |
