Robert Worth Berry

West Point, FRIENDS

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jerry L Crosby, State of AZ on August 20, 2013:

Bob, may I thank you for the parental love and regard you showed my son and our friend COL. Gerald Farber when they were Cadets. They enjoyed coming to your basement and building their airplanes on the weekends. My son remarked that every time he flew his plane thereafter he thought of COL Berry.

Bob, do you know what happened to my driver? I hear that you made very good use of it. My son said you loved it. I hope it performed better for you than for me!

Our brother, Robert Worth Berry, has completed his earthly toils. The brittle thread which bound him to Earth has been severed, and the liberated spirit has winged its flight to the unknown world. The silver cord is loosed; the golden bowl is broken; the pitcher is broken at the fountain; and the wheel is broken at the cistern. The dust has returned to the Earth as it was, and the spirit has returned to GOD who gave it.

So Mote It Be.
Eccl. Chapter 12

Well done Robert. Be thou at Peace.
