| I knew Jay in middle school. We ended up going to different high schools. This morning I read about him in the local Delaware paper and recalled a class field trip to the Smithsonian where we sat next to each other on the bus. Reading about his life today, I wanted to write that, even though I only knew him as a kid, Jay was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Not surprised at all that he ended up at West Point and later serving his country in Iraq. He was one of the best. My family and I send our prayers. |
