Dan Fitzgibbon was a wonderful company mate in D-1 and he absolutely helped me to get through the Ranger Course as my Ranger Buddy. Whenever I got down or was disillusioned with the hardship, he would crack a joke or do something to help me keep fighting. I really owe my tab to him. Dan was a kind, caring, and total gentleman. He was fun to be around. He always had an upbeat attitude, and he really was a super friend. I felt honored to be his "buddy", and I owe him a debt of gratitude that I can never repay. Good bye, my great friend, and may God keep you in His loving care until I can join ranks with you someday. Peace. Max Johnson |
