I graduated from high school with Jay like many others on here. To this day, I have never met anyone like him. In school, he was the kind of person we all strived to be, strong in character and conviction but soft in heart. He was extremely humble in every aspect of his life. Talking with Jay, you never would have known that he was so accomplished in so many areas of life. He never bragged, never looked down on anyone. He lead his life by example and action. Everyone in our class looked up to Jay, whether it was because of his athletic ability, intelligence, good nature or all of the above. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I pray for everyone in Jay?s life that God will grant them comfort and peace. I know that Jay is in good hands. This world needs more Jay Hartings. |
