| Today is the funeral for Jay and Capt. Frank at West Point. My sister Barbara and her daughter Jennifer Harting are there. Words have failed me so far with this tragedy and I am still struggling with them now. I first met Jay at his and Jen's wedding. There are those you meet in life that seal their place in your heart the moment they look into your eyes and he was one of those. There was just something about him and we all knew he was special. He was loved and embraced immediately by our family. We will do our best to care for your children Jay. We will strive to honor your memory every day. We are better for having known you and changed forever by our loss. God be with you now. |
