| I knew and worked with/for Lt. Place at RAF Chicksands, England, (1959-1962). I was a Telecommunications Operations Operator and Lt. Place was the Shift Communications Duty Officer. I knew him to say "good morning" or "Hello." There was no other more sharp dressed officer as Lt. Place on the base. He was a highly regarded credit to his organization, his rank and the USAF. Goodbye Lt. Place. You will be missed. (SALUTE) |
