| I first met Gen'l McMullen while he was at Air Force Systems Command. We were briefing him on a new Ground Power Generator program for the tactical fighter aircraft. He asked several challenging technical questions about the system conceptual design. Once we gained credibility with him that we knew what was needed on the flightline and the technologies that would most likely be used by industry to provide a hardware solution we could not have asked for a stronger supporter of the program. His support continued to when he was ASC commander. I will always have good memories of the brief time I spent with Gen'l McMullen. |
