| Captain Richard L. Whitesides, USAF, USMA Class of 1959, was Missing in Action in the crash of his aircraft in Southeast Asia on 27 March 1964. During the recently completed 55th Reunion of the USMA Class of 1959 (Oct, 2014), one of his K-2 companymates reported that Capt Whitesides' remains were located and positively identified earlier this year - more than 50 years after his loss. |
