I remember Jay from high school. What an amazing guy. To open the school newsletter today and first learn that he is now gone really hurts. I don't think I have seen Jay since graduation, 11 years ago. I will always remember him though, he was quiet, funny, extremely intellegent, and one hell of an athlete. I always felt like I kinda flew under the radar in high school, but for some reason I always remember Jay taking time to say hey to me, and vice versa. I think it was sharing freshman biology together that did that. And it was always more than a "hey" even if that is all that it ever was. He was a very special person...and I will not forget him. My thoughts are with the Harding family. -Andrew |
