John Withers was a great friend and classmate. As young "hot to trot" officers we shared memories of service in Okinawa during the Korean War. He and his wife Pat were a couple with whom Ann and I could count on being with for happy times. Smiles and laughter were the hallmarks of that friendship. John served his country well and proudly.
