Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Cyndi L Rodriguez on November 3, 2015:
We have so many fond memories of you John David, we called you always by your first and middle name as if it were one name.
You were so smart and you knew exactly what you wanted to do with your life and I was always so proud of you. I remember so many small details about you and I see you as if you are in my presence.
My last memories of you are of me taking you to the club Rumors ( you were not of age) you were such a great dancer. I remember my friends and acquaintances asking who you were and everyone wanted to dance with you. I let you leave the club with a group of girls who took you to breakfast or so you claimed. In the morning your mom couldn't believe where we had you out for the night.
The next day you wanted to tour the funeral home where I worked and we all went. You made me take your picture pretending to drive the hearse I can still hear your mom telling you to get out of that THING. So many memories.
I saw your dad some years ago at a funeral of a distant cousin of yours, it was sad to see him. He passed away this year I did not get to attend his funeral.
When Abram my son attended Central Catholic he carried your name in his wallet.
We never will stop missing you, you will always be our little brother John David.
