Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tricia Haggerty Wenz on November 17, 2015:

I am not sure who if anyone checks this Eulogy page- but I thought I would give an update on Paul's two remarkable sons-

Nicholas our oldest is now 21 and a senior at Fordham University- He is history major and making plans for graduate school. He has a strong sense of urgency when it comes to social justice and making a positive change in our world. He currently works at a magazine and enjoys playing the bass. He shares Paul's intellectual curiosity, kindness and warmth to all who met him. He also has Paul's great crooked smile and belly laugh!

Luke is 19 and a sophomore at Amherst College. He is a math major (and between Paul and I, I am not sure where he got the math gene!) Luke, like his brother has so much of Paul within him. He is too is kind, generous and fair- with a strong sense of moral obligation, He is truly a man of his word. One only needs to see him on the rugby field once to know that, like his dad, he can "hit like a mac truck". He is fearless.

They both are outstanding young men who, despite the tragic loss of their amazing dad, had a happy childhood surrounded by love. They have grown up knowing their dad, through stories, photos and his brothers and sisters who are so much like Paul in so many ways.

We would love to connect with any of you who remember and love Paul-
