| Walt was my ranger buddy Ranger Class #6 1964. He was a quiet unassuming kind of guy who was a great banjo player and kept me headed in the right direction through ranger school. I only wish I had kept in contact before his tragic death 24 April 1964 a short time after we graduated ranger school February 1964. Walt I will keep a candle lit for you and hope to see you on the other side in the objective rallying point where all rangers go. |
