Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Carolyn (Belprez) Kwiecinski on June 30, 2005:

My most heartfelt sympathy to the Frank family for your loss. Steve and I attended high school together at Haslett High. On hearing of his death, I remembered how even as a teenager, everyone looked up to Steve and respected him. We all knew of his desire to join the military. He was the kind of guy, through his character, dedication to friends and faith, and honesty- that we knew would make a difference. My baby brother is now serving in Iraq. Every day I worry about him and pray for him. I have prayed often for Steve, and hope that from where he is, he is watching over my brother and all the men and women in the military who would make the supreme sacrifice. Like Steve, I have a two year old son. Alex, thank you for giving up your dad so that my children can be safe, happy and FREE. My family will not forget his courage.
