So sorry to learn of Joe Philips recent death. Joe was an A-2 roommate for three years in Co A-2. A very religious person, and extremely personal and friendly to all who new him. He did everything in the spirit of being mindful of the needs of others and took it upon himself to help them in any way he could. I last saw him at our 50th reunion, and enjoyed catching up. I feel very fortunate to have known Joe and am very saddened to learn of his passing. May he rest in peace. Sean H. Cummings USMA Co A-2 1959 |
