Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Barb Faber on July 10, 2005:

With the chaos of this conflict and the loss of so many, I had no idea Dennis was among those lost in Operation Enduring Freedom. My husband is serving in the conflict as well and I can not even begin to put to words what you have endured. I have always known you to be a strong and caring person, and know you are still so. I still remember the day at Blanchfield right after your daughter was born when I popped in to your room to to congratulate you guys on a job well done. She should be proud of her Daddy, he was a great leader, a marvelous Engineer, and a wonderful person. So many aspects of yours and Dennis' life were like ours that we saw ourselves in you guys, only you had made vast improvements and challenged us to make ourselves better. Chris thought Dennis was a wonderful leader and had the utmost respect for him. Be thou at peace Dennis, you have given the ultimate sacrifice, and Stacy, know that Chris, Lindsey, and I are here. God Bless you.
