| Jon was my first squad leader during my first semester of plebe year. Jon's charisma and calm demeanor allowed me and the rest of the plebes in our squad to successfully complete our tasks, master our "poop" and focus on becoming accustomed to academics. I can truly say that when he recognized me at the end of my plebe year, he and I enjoyed the introduction and the evolution of our friendship. I am a better man for having known him. My sincere condolences to his family. I know that they miss him still, especially as I write this on Memorial Day. |
