| Skip and I were classmates; G-2/'72. I remember I was behind him watching his "cat eyes" on a night patrol at Buckner. All of a sudden the "cat eyes" disappeared - Skip had fallen off a "not-so-high" cliff (15 ft). Skip was allright chagrinning his misstep, It was hilarious! He gathered himself and we helped him up to the trail and trudged-on. I think the upcomming weekend was Woodstock. Also, remembered one of Bobby Knight's "folding chair throwing tantrums" in the Field House. Skip was always level-headed, most upraising and fun to be with. I cherish the time we were together; and often remember him with a smile. |
