One of my greatest joys in life was to have the privilege of coaching fine young men. I am honored to have coached you and been a part of your short life here with us. Ryan, you were one of the finest young men I have ever known and I have honored you daily by proudly wearing a bracelet with your name inscribed on it. As the 10th anniversary of your passing approaches, there is not a day that goes by when I do not think of you and how you honorably served our country. This year also marks my 10th year of retirement from the Navy where I also had the privilege of serving alongside some very fine individuals over 23 years of service; however, this year for me is a reminder not of my service, but of your service and sacrifice. Rest well my brother. You are my true Hero! |
