I had the good fortune of serving with Charlie in DIA from 1974-77 and followed his career from afar after that. Tried to contact him after 2000 and learned to my dismay that he had died in a fateful auto accident in Fairfax on 20 Jan 99, which his lovely wife Denise is not over yet. He was an excellent co-worker and great friend. All too sadly missed, but he has left a great legacy in three wonderful children and a growing crop of grandkids. Well done, Charlie! |
