Be Thou At Peace

Posted by JOHN E> PRITCHARD on December 9, 2017:

I served under LTCOL Aaron as a radio operator in S-3 Air, 1st. Battalion, 7th. Infantry, 3rd Infantry Division in Germany. Had the Third Infantry Division been assigned to Vietnam, I would have served more proudly under this brave battalion commander in fighting the Viet Cong and NVA. In Germany, I did do my best to attend to my duties to the BEST of my ability. He was such an outstanding battalion commander, our outfit would have creamed a lot of VC and BVA had we been in Nam. Still, I did my duty to the BEST of my ability. Well done, Sir! Be thou at peace.
