| I met Spencer when I was in Basic Training at E-Btry 1/31st FA at Fort Sill, OK, in the summer of 1992. Spencer was still a cadet at West Point. He and 3 other cadets were assigned as "Drill Cadets" to our BCT group for a couple weeks. Although they were supposed to be tough, strict leaders, you could tell Spencer cared about the trainees and fellow soldiers. I am honored to have known Spencer. God speed, Sir. |
