Hines family: I heard of Derek's passing to heaven through the Hockey/Lacrosse boys tight network. I had the privledge of meeting Derek freshman year when he had to balance the busy schedule of playing hockey and lacrosse in a single year and I had the awesome opportunity to spend three more years with him at school. The memories of Derek, his smile, his attitude and outlook on life will forever be looked up to by myself and all those who knew him. Although we will all miss him, his life should be celebrated for the long lasting impact he has made on our lives. Nugget, I will miss you brother, looking forward to seeing you again. -Clat |
