My heart and prayers go out to the Hines family, Leah, and all who had the distinct privledge of knowing Hinesy. As a friend and teammate, I knew him for 5 short years, yet shared a lifetime of memories. Looking back makes me appreciate at the times we shared. . . hours at the rink, the Army/Navy lax trip, the super bowl party, Tony's, the list goes on. However, it's now the little things that I will cherish most about him. The chats we had in the back of the bus, the 10 minutes at grant, "powerade year", vinny, just to name a few. These were the times we spent together when no one else was around. The inside jokes, the things that I couldn't explain if I tried, the times you realize that you have a true friend. Those memories I will carry forever. Number 7 will always be with me. Mike McLean '04 |
