Be Thou At Peace

Posted by JEORGE R. BELER on September 10, 2005:

Its been more than 3 years since the MH-47 Chinook special operations helicopter crash. I can still remember the news updates and I still kept the newspaper clippings of Balikatan 02-1 of which Major Feistner's 160th SOAR unit was a part of. As a Filipino who loves freedom and democracy, I am saddened by the loss of such great and selfless men but on one side extremely proud that Maj. Feistner's death as well as the others who went down with him, just kept freedom's flame growing. Thank you for all the sacrifices in our behalf and for sure, their legacy will live on in our hearts and minds.
