Have been in FL visiting with Brother Bert. We each have a limited understanding or our father, and our talks have not always been on this important subject, but through this interchange we have recognized that in each of us may well be his essence. I have heard that it was he, his character, which inspired the movie "Von Ryan's Express." Tragic to all those around him, his premature death left a void in many lives.
