My husband was looking at the eulogy pages of recent classes (I am '97, he is '96) and yesterday he found Charlie Driscoll's page. I had no idea and I am extremely saddened to know that he has left us so soon. Charlie was my squad leader during the second detail of Beast (summer of 1993) and I was very fortunate to have someone who was so professional and good natured as a squad leader. His calm and encouraging personality was one of the first positive influences I had at school and I am certain it played a part in my overall outlook at West Point. Thank you, Charlie, rest in peace. |
