Greetings from Manila, Philippines! Memorial Day 2021 here is bright and sunny -- and a good time to remember my West Point classmate, Joe Bianco. Joe and I belonged to different Regiments, so I never really got to know him well. I do recall him as a tall fellow, friendly but with a Southern accent that was sometimes difficult to understand (for me, at least). And very intelligent -- he was in the top 10% of our Class in Academics. Joe and I parted ways on Graduation Day, and our paths never crossed again. He joined the US Air Force while I joined the Philippine Army -- and we both had full 30+ years in the military service. Well done, Joe. Be thou at peace!
