Paul and I were married upon graduation in 1956 in the West Point Cathedral. I met Paul when he was in the Air Force and based at Stewart Airbase in Newburgh, NY. Paul became a pilot at an early age. I was at a local lake in the summer, and he was on a seaplane that landed on the lake. Paul came ashore, and that is how we first met. I was there to support him through the whole four years at West Point. He worked very hard. He excelled in sports. He was very intelligent. Sadly to say, after Paul was stationed in Korea, and we were separated it led to a divorce. He will always be part of me. |
