Anthony, 20 years and 2 days ago you asked me how I would celebrate Black History Month. I was surprised by the question and couldn't think of a good answer. All I could muster was, "I guess I will talk to you". It was one of our last conversations. I would have given anything to celebrate Black History Month by talking with you. Every year I remember this conversation as February 1st approaches and I try to do something small with you in mind. I am forever grateful for the time we spent together. I am thinking of you and your family today. Thanks for the impact you had on me. |
