| Dan, you were the quiet genius and a star of a star man. How an academic genius like you and an almost goat like me hung out together in NYC still escapes me, but man did we have fun. I think you talked me into attending a trip through one of the forums you were a member of. We met the mayor of NY and a few other dignitaries, and when the evening came it was my turn to show you some sights. Man, I had no idea you could run for your life so fast. I do take the credit for advising when to run. I kind of doubt whether the other fox trotters knew how much fun you could be. The smile on your face and the way your eyes lit up that night let me know you were hardly a nerd despite your tireless friendship with Rex, Guddy, and the other star guys. Dan Doede, you make heaven a better place. God rest your soul. |
