Dennis William Zilinski II

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Andy Lalinde '03 on November 23, 2005:

Dennis was a year below me in B3, and the two years I shared with him were memorable. I served as one of his cadet leaders for a semester, and honestly his character is one of the reasons why that experience is so memorable. Often, Dennis, Joey, and J-Will were the guys who cracked me up the most with their antics, so I would turn to them when I needed some relief from my position. Dennis, in particular, just knew how to keep me laughing.

I first learned of his passing from a friend in the class of '05 who was also in B-3, and my initial reaction was disbelief. My heart instantly sank, and I sat in my chair thinking of all the times I had walked into Dennis' room looking for a laugh or funny story. His untimely death has hurt more than any thus far, and I can only express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Zilinski family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult of times.

Humbly yours,

Andy Lalinde, '03
