Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tricia Haggerty Wenz on April 13, 2023:

For those who still stop by here it is 25 years ago today we lost Paul. it is funny how it is still hard to believe- it feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago.

Paul is still the guiding force in our lives.

Our son Nicholas is now 28. He got his undergraduate degree from Fordham University where he majored in History and learned to speak Mandarin. He has a Masters in Anthropology from the London School of Economics and plans to attend Law School in the Fall. Nick is incredibly kind, he is curious about others, and believes strongly in social justice. His voice, crooked smile, and infectious laugh all are so reminiscent of Paul at the same age. He is currently applying for PHD programs.

Our son Luke is 26. He graduated from Amherst College this past May where he received a degree in Statistics. Luke shares Paul's steely determination, strong spirit, and fearlessness. And like Nick he is an incredibly kind and generous soul. He is currently working for a fantastic non-profit called Family Aid in Boston. He is running the Boston Marathon on Monday!

We still continue to love, honor, and miss Paul every single day. For anyone who wants to reach out you can find me at:

peace and love to you all
