LTC Don Conrad, USMA 1963 Quality. Don was proud of his West Point classmates and valued his years on the Hudson. He was mindful of families when a classmate died. He was roommate of my brother as a Plebe and Yearling. The faith and prayers of Don are remembered with thanks. The father of Don was US Army, stationed in Paris in 1959 and living at Versailles. Don understood firsthand the tensions in Europe and the important contribution of the US Army to freedom. Like his classmates, it is natural that he chose USMA and the Army.
