Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Stephanie Webber on February 18, 2024:

Andrew Webber was handsome, mischievous, smart, and funny. He made friends by striking up a random and sometimes awkward conversation with a stranger knowing more about their race, ethnicity, culture, and country than they did but kindly educating them leading to a new and interesting friendship. Passionate debater about politics and other worldly topics with friends and family members leading to amusing intense debates and hurt feelings which were usually his. Andrew helped people with his knowledge, and connections and mastered problem-solving skills. He said said, "yo" over the phone and text. He had a contagious laugh and smile. He was confident he could speak German, no one questioned that although they should have lol. The rules applied to everyone except him and he somehow belonged every he went although thats not where he was supposed to be. He could build an empire but not a bookshelf and had the tools to lead an army but not to fix a leak. He could look like a hippie, mountain man, or movie star and hang out on the streets or with royalty. He was confident in his English accent and used the word peasant a lot when narrating what our children were thinking of us and it was so very funny. He didnt like when his sister (me) wore his clothes. I think he would have been ok with it if I asked but I never did so I wouldnt know. He hated mayonnaise and his gag response to it was hilarious and dramatic. I am thankful to have so many wonderful memories, adventures, fist fights, hugs, and laughs with him. Miss you, Andrew.
