Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Kelli Boone Swaintek on February 18, 2024:

Andy Webber. One of one.
Andy was one of my closest friends at West Point. I'm not unique in saying that - there' not a person he met that he didn't become friends with. He helped me with countless assignments on Russia, often 'cadet borrowed' my shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (yet somehow his room remained the worst smelling room in Pershing), and constantly got us into mischief. Always eager to help, always grinning, and always getting into trouble.
I am humbled (but not at all surprised) by all of Andy's accomplishments in his 41 years of life - husband, father, Army officer, attorney, founder of a non-profit.
I am gutted he lost his life-fighting side by side with the Ukrainian Army. My heart breaks for DeeDee Cloyd Webber, his girls, and his family.
Be thou at peace, Andy.
