Be Thou At Peace

Andrew Webber was an incredible guy and classmate who had it all. Degrees from West Point and Northwestern Law School, several combat tours in the US Army, a great family, and friends with everyone he met. We hung out a few times in Chicago when he was going to law school, and he chose to live in a pretty rough part of town, yet I remember how connected he was with all his neighbors who all loved him and his family, and how much positivity he brought to a neighborhood with a lot of challenges. Despite having it all, he still raised his hand to volunteer to fight for a cause he believed in. A theme throughout his whole life! This past weekend while serving with the 59th Motorized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces he was killed in action. Be thou at peace brother! Keeping Freedom Alive! |
