| I am extremely grateful to have known Don. His cander and down to earth demeanor was honestly a breath of fresh air when he first arrived in Papua New Guinea. Despite being a Colonel, Don was incredibly humble and truly cared for everyone he interacted with especially the people he was charged to lead. I will miss most our conversations on the status of Army football and upcoming Army football games. Most of all, I will miss the friendship and comradely of a true hero. |
