Be Thou At Peace

| I was sorry to read of "Torgy"s" passing. A very good officer and a very fine man. I knew Chris through Corps Squad Lacrosse when I was a plebe, and as we were in same BN, he tried to steer some heat away from me. I had the great pleasure of running into him again 18 years and six thousand miles away when I was going to a course at 7th Army CATC (as a Navy guy!) and he was S-3. We quaffed a few ales and took a few photos(which I still Have somewhere) and had dinner together and reminisced. It was a pleasure to run into him again, and the Army is a better organization for having had decent men like him in it. Well remembered. Rest in Peace, friend. |
