| John and I served together as plebes in Company E-2 in 1961. He was the guy who seemed to know about everything that was going on. When he approached me with his ideas on a Class Crest design, I had no ideas or thoughts about such a thing. (I was still wondering where "imaginary numbers" went.) With his guidance and enthusiasm we created a Class Crest, a crest that will outlive both of us. Rest in peace, John. |
